Our Leadership

OUR SERVANT LEADERS

We look to the scriptures and strive to organize ourselves the way the early Christians did – with elders, deacons, and a dedicated evangelist.  While part of the universal community of all believers, we are an autonomous local congregation that answers only to Christ as our head.

The Powers Ferry Road congregation is shepherded by six elders — Don Davenport has been serving us since 1990, Tom Palmer since 2003, Jimmy Marquis and Ken Buchanan since 2006, and Chuck Ray and Patrick Sells began serving in this role in 2012.

We are also served by 10 deacons.  These men lead and carry out various aspects of our work here.
